Pine Hill Middle School is a single story, 120,545 square foot middle school constructed for the Richmond County Board of Education. The project included regular classrooms, special education classes, library, gymnasium, cafeteria, kitchen, administration and arts classroom. The building was constructed on a concrete foundation, concrete slab on-grade, load bearing masonry walls, with bar joist over the gym and cafeteria, and metal stud trusses over the remaining areas. The roof consists of metal panels over the classrooms and single-ply membrane roof over the remaining areas. The interior finishes include VCT in the classrooms, ceramic tile and quarry tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, and terrazzo in the hallways. The exterior façade is brick veneer consisting of utility bricks coupled with stucco. McKnight also installed a new softball and practice football fields with the site package, along with full landscaping.
