Description: Christenberry Fieldhouse, a Multi-Story Athletic Complex, houses the university’s physical education classes and is home to the Georgia Regents University’s sports teams. The 163,000 SF facility has three basketball courts with seating for over 8,000 spectators as well as classrooms and offices for the professors in the physical education department.

The building structure consists of poured in place concrete. The roof structure is long span metal trusses with acoustical deck. The roof is a single ply roof. The exterior has soccer, basketball and soft ball fields and parking for over 1,000 vehicles. The sports fields include ticketed gating, crowd management, concession stands, restrooms, and video boards. This project utilized McKnight’s strong relationships with local subcontractors to finish the job on time and under budget.
