The Orangeburg Detention Center is a fully encompassed correctional facility that includes intake, booking dormitory housing, and long term housing. The Orangeburg Detention Center also included an administrative area, kitchen, laundry facility.
This is a new two-story facility which included site work- landscaping, security perimeter fencing.  It included a state of the art security system, which involved full DEC equipment installation and integrating of cameras, doors, automatic locks, alarm system, and intercom system.
