The Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA) redeveloped a 9.45-acre parcel in Clayton County to include a new 25,000 square foot, 12 bay bus maintenance building, a new 10,000 square foot administrative building, a three bay fueling station with canopy and a 20,000 gallon underground storage tank, and surface parking for a minimum of 120 buses and approximately 165 vehicle parking spaces. The pre-engineered metal buildings house administration space for the bus service operations, a bus dispatch and control center, employee training area, IT closet, and bus driver lounge and locker area. A new 75kW natural gas emergency generator is located near the Administration building.
